National Library Week April 13-19, 2014:
Monday 4/14: Library Amnesty Day-Return any and all overdue items and the fines will be waived*, no questions asked.
Wednesday 4/16: E-Book Help-Bring your e-reader (iPad, Kindle, Nook, etc.) to the library between 3:00pm and 6:00pm for help navigating your devise and getting e-books.
Thursday 4/17: Movie Night-Join us at 6:30pm for the showing of Saving Mr. Banks.


All Week:
Food 4 Fines: Bring in your non-perishable food items (no glass containers) to donate to the Care & Share Food Pantry. Every item you bring in will take $1.00 off your overdue fines**.

›Shelf Scavenger Hunt: Items throughout the entire library will be winners. All you have to do is find the items and check them out. Hints to items will be given throughout the entire week.

*Not applicable for damaged items.
**Not applicable for Lost/Damaged/Billed items.

The Suring Area Public Library offers an in-library-use-only collection of local history items as well as access, by appointment, to the Oconto County Genealogical Society archives.  Please check the OCGS website; see the link to the left.

Come in and browse our collection; settle in to do some reading in our comfortable reading area, located in front of our cozy fireplace, surrounded by the brick memorials of our generous patrons upon whose donations these “rocks” literally stand.
